Our environmental responsibility

Net Zero

Reducing the environmental impact of dental care across all of our practices.

Our Net Zero commitment

Nationwide Healthcare Providers Ltd is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2050 for emissions scopes 1, 2 and 3. The commitment was made on 12/01/2026 by the Company Directors.

What this covers

"Net Zero" means balancing the greenhouse gas emissions we produce with the amount we remove, so our overall contribution is zero. Our commitment spans all three internationally recognised emissions scopes:

  • Scope 1 — direct emissions

Emissions from sources we own or control, such as heating our practice buildings.

  • Scope 2 — indirect energy

Emissions from the electricity we purchase to power our practices and equipment.

  • Scope 3 — wider value chain

Emissions across our supply chain — including the goods and services we buy, waste, and patient and staff travel.

Aligned with the NHS

As an NHS dental provider, our commitment supports the NHS goal of becoming the world's first Net Zero national health service. We will keep this commitment under regular review and report on our progress as our plans develop.
